Michael A. George's Obituary
GEORGE, Michael A. age 72, of Xenia, passed away Fri. Dec. 11, 2015 at Greene Memorial Hospital. Michael graduated from Kingman High School, class of '61, and was a Navy veteran. He greatly enjoyed working, classic cars, woodworking, gardening, cooking, and canning. He was preceded in death by one son Michael George; his parents Everett and Freda George; two brothers Teddy and Terry George; and three sisters Sue Ann Carman, Marilyn Plummer, and Judy Suttles. He is survived by his wife of 3 years, Celia; son Charles (Carin) George, three daughters Diane (Robert) Babb, Natalie Brown, and Rebecca DeGarmo; twelve grandchildren Matthew DeGarmo, Brittany Babb, Hayley Babb, Casey George, Josh George, Adam George, Jacob George, Austin Babb, Alyia Brown, Evan Brown, Cara George, and Cloe George; two great grandchildren; three brothers Robert (Betty) George, Douglas (Cleta) George, and Joseph (Donna) George; and three sisters Carol Lee Blankenship, Maryannette (John) Meadows, and Vicki (Irvin) Wallingford. Funeral services 1 PM Wed. Dec. 16 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 11 AM - 1 PM Wed. at the funeral home.
