Michael R. Hoover's Obituary
HOOVER, Michael R., age 72, of Waynesville passed away Tues. July 31, 2018 at his residence.
Michael was a navy veteran and was a member of the Waynesville American Legion Post 615. He retired from Delco Moraine after 30 years of service. He greatly enjoyed mowing the grass.
He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Bertha Hoover and sister Pat. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Kay Hoover (née Kirby); two daughters Theresa McWhorter and Deanna Hoover; two step-daughters Peggy Alexander and Theresa Bennett; step-son Bill (Linda) Worley; four grandchildren Katie, Michelle, Alex, and Ryan; three great grandchildren; two sisters Barbara and Sheila; and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 12:30 PM Tues. Aug. 14 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Waynesville. If desired, contributions may be made to the American Heart and Lung Association. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
