Norma Mae Dimbath's Obituary
DIMBATH, Norma, 84, of Centerville passed from this life into eternal life on Sept. 22, 2015. Norma was born in West Liberty in the farmhouse where her parents lived on June 18, 1931 and graduated from Bellbrook High School. She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Opal Hughes, a sister Delores Earley, and a brother Russell Hughes. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Mark; her children Keith (Christi) of Westerville, Kent (Brenda) of Bellbrook, Kevin (Judy) of Springboro, and Karen (Tom Dermis) of Springboro; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; a sister Sue Trucksis of Tipp City; and a brother Larry Hughes of Phoenix, Arizona. Over the years Norma was employed in a doctor’s office and dental office. She was a member of the Crossview Christian Church in Waynesville, where she taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and in later years led the church’s senior ministry. Her family brought her much joy, and she was a loving and devoted wife to her husband Mark, a wonderful mother to her four children, and she enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She looked forward to family gatherings, especially the holidays, and enjoyed preparing and hosting those special times. She was always involved in the lives and activities of her family. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Stubbs Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Visitation will be 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Fri., Sept. 25 at Crossview Christian Church, 4237 Social Row Road, Waynesville. A service celebrating Norma’s life will be held at Crossview Christian Church 10:00 am, Sat. Sept. 26 with Scot Gorsuch and Kevan Duke officiating. Burial will be at Miami Cemetery in Corwin.
