Norma J. Patterson's Obituary
PATTERSON, Norma J. age 73, of Waynesville, passed away Thurs. Oct. 27, 2016. Norma received a Bachelor's Degree from Bluefield State University in WV with a focus on Early Childhood Education. Following graduation, she worked as a substitute teacher in WV for over 10 years. She was a member of the Waynesville First Baptist Church. She greatly enjoyed taking photographs, teaching Sunday School at her church, Bible studies and other church related activities. She was preceded in death by her parents Hensley and Alpha Roach, her brother Lovell Roach, and two sisters Sandra Kay Roach and Carol Montgomery. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Lawrence; son Greg (Diana) Patterson; daughter Teresa Patterson; and five grandchildren Joshua Patterson, Tanner Patterson, Samantha Dains, Justin Dains, and Jordan Deters. Funeral services 11 AM Wed. Nov. 2 at the Waynesville First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 5 - 7 PM Tues. Nov. 1 at the church.
