My deepest sympathy on the loss of your dad. I don't recall who was a worst influence on whom when we lived across the street from each other 50 years ago but I do remember that even when we sneaked off on our bikes to downtown SB to see "13 Ghosts" with our special 'ghost viewer glasses' at the old Colfax Theater or when we were screaming at those scary late-Friday-night TV shows at your house...he was always a most gentle and patient man who took most of our antics in stride.
