Patricia A. Kyle's Obituary
KYLE, Patricia A., age 89, of Waynesville and formerly of Cincinnati, passed away Monday, August 10, 2020 at Ohio Living Quaker Heights in Waynesville.
Earlier in her life, Patricia volunteered with the Peace Corps, following her compassion to help others, evident throughout her long life. Over the years, she worked for public television in Dayton and within the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, completing nearly 40 years before officially retiring.
She was an active member of the New Thought Unity Center in Cincinnati, where she sang in the choir, enjoyed their many social events and often volunteered in their outreach programs.
Outgoing, independent, particular and friendly, Patricia was family-oriented. Later in her life, she had a couple pet rabbits roaming her home. She greatly enjoyed traveling. She visited much of the United States, and spent days traveling to visit her son & daughter-in-law on the east coast, as well as Colorado. She also enjoyed one memorable trip to the country of Morocco. Ever active, she regularly participated in the friendly fitness activity of Volksmarching, mostly throughout her home region. Extremely crafty, antiques, and the plants and flowers she grew in her home gave her great joy over the years. Her favorite time of the year was the Christmas season, often going all-out in the spirit via decorations, music, and an all-round festive atmosphere. Among many things, she will be remembered for her insistence on visiting and staying connected with her many direct and extended family members, creating a lifetime of great family memories.
She was preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Nancy; and former husband Art. She is survived by her son Scott (Sandy) Kyle of Cincinnati; three grandchildren Montana, Peyton, and Seth; two sisters Caryl (Powell) Toth of WV and Nancy (David) Liffick of Waynesville; one brother, Eric (Marilyn) Butterbaugh of Waynesville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 12PM Monday, August 17 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville, OH. Burial will be in Polk Grove Cemetery in Dayton.
