Patricia Will's Obituary
WILL, Patricia, age 73, of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties.
Patricia graduated from Lincoln High School in Bloomington, Minnesota, class of ’69. She worked 33 years for St. Joseph Provena Hospital in Elgin, Illinois.
Easygoing, humble, friendly, and loved by all who knew her, Patricia had the purest soul and had an exceptionally close bond with her parents. Patricia was her parents' pride and joy, and they did everything together. Together, they had a love for food and eating out was something they always looked forward to. In addition, Pat loved baking, with coffee cakes being some of her favorites. She also had a tradition of making waffles on Saturday mornings. Her father sang in a barbershop quartet and chorus for many years, and Pat traveled with her parents during the events. She made many friends and memories during those years they were involved with the quartet. On a bigger stage, Pat enjoyed listening to the Gaithers, but she especially loved Elvis. She collected Elvis's memorabilia and kept scrapbooks, newspaper clippings, and other items of interest related to him. In her later years, she enjoyed watching TV with QVC, HGTV, the Food Network, Law & Order, and Antique Roadshow being her favorite programs. Among many things, Pat will be remembered for her love of hummingbirds, her love of visiting family in Ohio, and all her amazing friends back in Elgin, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Paul and Mary Will. She is survived by special cousins, Laura (Dale) Stacy and their daughter Mikayla, Dan Frey, Paula Pons, Kris Pons and her son and daughter Austin and Ava, Liz (BJ) Smallwood and their daughter and son Charley and Oliver, and David (Doreen) Frey.
The family will receive friends 5 - 6 PM Thursday, November 21, at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. A life celebration service will immediately follow the gathering on Thursday at 6 PM at the funeral home. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
