I am very sorry that I did not know that Pat was ill and that he had passed. I enjoyed many breakfasts with Pat at Der Dutchman with Pat Irelan, and several others. Pat loved to talk about music and he loved school music programs. He volunteered many hours with the Masons in Waynesville. He was an all around good man and I have many positive memories of my interactions with him.

My condolences to Pat's family. I first met him when I was the band director at Carlisle High School in the late 70s. He was a gifted repairmen and I always enjoyed our talks when I would take instruments to him. He often gave good advice that as a young director I was wise to listen to.
I didn't get to see him much after moving to Newark, but I found out he and his wife lived on the same street as my mom and dad in Waynesville.
Thank you Pat for your many years of service and dedication to music educators and music students in the Dayton area.

Pat was my friend and Mentor for 40 years... I am left with so many wonderful memories of times we spent together...

Pat and I enjoyed many of the same interests. I always enjoyed visiting with him. We even shared the same name, so to eliminate confusion, the band called him Pat and me, Patrick.
Among other things, I will always remember his smile. Always honest, forthright, and dependable, I will miss him. May God Bless you now and forever.

We are grateful for his memory and his love of teaching other "How to do it right" when repairing instruments. Wish we could be there with you all to encourage you.

I spoke with Pat a few times at various NAPBIRT conventions years ago and always enjoyed the time we spent together. My condolences to his family and friends.
