Patsy J. Colvin's Obituary
COLVIN, Patsy J., age 61, of Waynesville, went home to be with the Lord at 10 A.M. Sat., Sept. 14, 2019.
Patsy graduated from Waynesville High School, class of ’76. She was a home health aide for seven years, where her clients always loved her. Earlier in her life, she was an executive secretary at NCR for some years. She was an active member of the Lytle United Methodist Church, where she was currently serving as the choir director. She also served as the choir director at Lytle Christian Fellowship for some time.
Encouraging, supportive, and compassionate, Patsy greatly enjoyed music, playing the piano, watching the birds, and animals-especially her beloved cats. She also enjoyed family events and attending activities that her nieces and nephews were involved in. She also loved jewelry and even worked at some jobs where she got to sell and share her love of the pieces.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ken Colvin, in 2013. She is survived by her mother, Nancy J. Colvin; two brothers, Kenneth (Margaret) Colvin and Christopher (Robin) Colvin; seven nieces and nephews, Jeremy (Amy), Daniel (Kate), Casey, Hannah, Sarah, Adrianna, and Mitchell; aunts; uncles; and many cousins.
A celebration of life service will be held 2 PM Sat., Sept. 21 at the Lytle United Methodist Church. Pastor Brian Blankenship will be officiating. The family will receive friends 1 - 2 PM Sat. at the church. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family.
