HAMPTON, Paul Eugene “Gene”, age 92, of Waynesville, passed away Monday, February 22, 2021at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties.
Gene was a Korean Conflict Army veteran. He retired from GM in 1987 after 30 years of service. He was a longstanding member of the Lighthouse Harbor Free Pentecostal Holiness Church in Lebanon. He loved attending church and was often the first one in attendance for church services.

He owned and operated the business for many years, and even after closing the physical store continued to buy and sell pieces until his last days. His other hobbies included traveling, hunting, and fishing. He visited almost all of the 50 states over the years, with his favorite fishing spot located in Michigan and Colorado his choice for his hunting endeavors.
He was preceded in death by a son Gary Hampton, his parents Olen and Lizzie Hampton, six brothers, and three sisters. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Mary “Evelyn”; daughter Karon Lynn (Luther) Neal; two grandchildren Jeremy (Maggie) Neal and Jason (Christine) Neal; six great grandchildren Bradley, Brianna (Jacob), twins Josh and Jordan, Katie, and Ethan; and great great grandson Jonah.
