I have such fond memories Paul he was our bus driver ,superintendent at Clinton Massie, and I remember going caroling at Christmas time and going back to your house for hot chocolate. I know you will see him again in Heaven. He was such a good man.

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Schwamberger (as I called him as a student of his at Clinton-Massie and as a friend in the Clarksville United Methodist Church). He was a wonderful teacher, coach, friend, man of God and brother in Christ. His life truly exemplified what God describes in Scripture as a "Good Man." His influence on the lives of the many students who were fortunate enough to have had him as a teacher and/or coach, as well as those who knew him as a friend and Christian brother, will stand as an eternal legacy. It is a great comfort to know that he is now in heaven with the Lord, and that those of us who believe in Jesus will see him again when we get there. He could truly say, along with Paul in 2 Timothy 4:7,8, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day...". With many others, I extend my prayers and deepest condolescences to the Schwamberger family in this time of deep loss. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved Him.
The Coach was a great man and all around good person....he was a model for all that met him...

I wanted to send my condolences to the family for the passing of Paul. He was one of my mentors and baseball coach when I lived in Clarksville. I was on his teams for about 6 years and just loved playing ball under his leadership. Since I left for going to college and having a family, unfortunately I have not kept track of all the people who influenced my life. I have to say that Coach Schwamberger was a wonderful coach and person that I have often thought of contributed to the way I am today.

i am sad to here that "coach " has pasted away. he was by far the most important person in my life from the athletic side of my life. he was by far the best baseball coach that i ever have been around. he was even a better person. the things that he taught me goes way beyond any sports field. he was the one that helped me reach my dream of play professional baseball. without him, it would not have happened. i have so many stories about the coach that all the girls would love !!!! one in particular was my senior year. i asked him about the signals we were going to use for the pitchers. he said "son, after all these years of you catching, if you can't call your own pitches by now, i most be the worst coach in year world " patty, please feel free to call me (937-475-9458). i just learned today about "coach" pasting. if there is anything i can do to honor him, just let me know.

Dear V irginia, Patty, Peggy, Susie and family,
From the time that you and Paul came to Clarksville and he taught and coached us at Clarksville-Vernon, we have loved you.
We have many fond memories there and at CUMChurch of his kindness and guidance.
It is with heavy hearts that we pray now at his passing: Jesus has said "I go to prepare a place for you". and "In my Father's house there are many mansions. Mr. Schwamberger (Paul) has earned his mansion and will be forever happy there.
