Paul R. Miller's Obituary
MILLER, Paul R. age 79, went to be with his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on June 24, 2009. Paul was born December 24, 1929 in Lucasville, OH. He leaves his beloved wife of 60 years, Gwendolyn Miller and his daughters Sue Jones, Judy Stevens and Patti Faber. He was the grandfather to Michelle Trame, Tanya Welch, Terry Stevens, Melissa Sleasman and Ryan Faber. Great grandfather to Tristen Trame and Kayla Stevens. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leman and Garnet (Hancock) Miller, his brother Bob Miller, two sisters Delores and Doris Miller and grandson Brian Atkins. He worked at McCalls (Dayton, OH) and Ringier of America (Georgia). Paul was baptized July 24, 1952 and was a deacon and trustee of the church for many years. He was a godly man who was always patient, caring, giving, kind and generous. He was a member of Crossview Christian Church. He loved to play basketball and softball, he could build or fix anything and he made beautiful bird houses that he gave to all his loved ones. Paul’s grandmother remarked to her friends shortly before her death “Why should you grieve for me when I seem to see Jesus reaching out his hands to me and telling me to come?” It gives us comfort to know he is surrounded by many loved ones and friends who welcomed him into paradise. He will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral services 12 noon Mon. June 29 at Crossview Christian Church, 4237 Social Row Rd., Waynesville, OH. Randy Snyder will officiate. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin, OH. The family will receive friends 10am-12pm Mon. at the church. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville is serving the family.
