Philip D. Carter's Obituary
CARTER, Philip D., age 49, of Waynesville, passed away at home, Fri., Feb. 19, 2010. Phil was born Aug. 15, 1960 in Waynesville to Glen and Mary Carter. He graduated from Springboro High School in 1978. He was preceded in death by his son Michael and his wife Joy. He is survived by his son Daniel of Waynesville, daughter and son-in-law Tracey and Randy Wical of Waynesville, granddaughter Genevieve Wical, brother and sister-in-law Kenneth and Carol Carter, niece Rachel Carter all of Waynesville, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Phil loved fishing, old cars, rocks, land; anything involving nature. His greatest love however, was trees; he lined his property and his parents' with pine trees and loved watching them grow. He played a special roll in many people's lives, and all those who knew him will find a void in their life. Funeral services 11 AM Wed. Feb. 24 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Hugh Hurley officiating. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 5-8 PM Tues. at the funeral home.
