I know it has been a while but I never go golfing without thinking about Ray, then I think about you the kids and the grandkids, hope every one is doing fine. Missing my golfing buddy still.

I want to express the words that convey how much you meant to me.....how much my children were influenced by you.....how much my husband considered you as a second father....those words do not exist. The words do not exist to show how much Mom misses you but how much your strength is shining through her to persevere.....how much she is learning to depend on those who love you and her so much. Your story shines through all of us. I love you, Daddy. Love your "Jackpot!" - Jackie
A beautiful heart stopped beating, a good soul ascended to heaven. No words can begin to express my love, respect and admiration for Ray. Ray showed us how to live our lives to the fullest, it showed in every aspect of his life. A person that departs this earth never truly leaves us, they are still alive in our hearts, through us they live on. May his loved ones find comfort in this promise. My Love and deepest sympathy to all who loved Ray.

Having played golf with Ray at least once a week for the past several summers, I know how much the game meant to him. That brings to mind a quote from one of my favorite movies, 'The Legend Of Bagger Vance', golf is a “game that can't be won, only played”. I believe that Ray played the game of life this way, in his legacy of being a great father, husband, and friend.

I HATE math but Wisby cracked me up. Taught me in the late 80's. Tough loss. So sorry.

I remember making crosses during the Lenten season at Grace with Ray. He kept reiterating he had no artistic bent, yet his crosses always expressed so much, especially when he explained what each component (material) represented. No one part could stand independently alone and have true meaning, but the pieces comprised the whole of the cross to convey a powerful message. Ray's life is very much like that. My individual experience with Ray is only one piece of who he is, the whole of Ray being so much more. I feel so very, very fortunate to have been able to be a piece of his life, such a giving, thoughtful, loving man. I am sorry that I am unable to attend the services but he remains in my heart and thoughts, and my prayers go out to Sharon and family, and all those he loved and loved him.
I used to hide erasers on top of the speakers in math class where he couldn't reach them.. 😊 I always respected him just for being a nice guy.. Seems like yesterday..disbelief 😩 GODspeed sir 😶
