Raleigh J. Peters' Obituary
PETERS, Raleigh J. age 84, of Springboro and formerly of Lebanon, passed away Thurs. Dec. 10, 2015 at his residence. Raleigh retired from Otterbein Home in 1997 after many years of service. A member of the Dodds Pentecostal Church, he greatly enjoyed woodworking and building bird houses. He was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Laura Peters; one brother Sterling Peters; and four sisters Dora Cox, Nan Hammiel, Jean Allikas, and Sherry Ann Peters. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Frances; one son Roger (Cathy) Peters, two grandchildren Tabitha (Mike) Guidone and Trevor Peters; two great grandsons Riley and Gabe; two brothers Bill (Doris) and Ed (Maxine) Peters; two sisters Kate Mayberry and Bertha (Dennis) Phillips; and good friends Paul & Maribeth Cynkar. Funeral services 11 AM Tues. Dec. 15 at Dodds Pentecostal Church, Waynesville. Bill Lamb and Kelly Rogers will be officiating. Burial will be in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 5-8 PM Mon. at the church. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville is serving the family. If desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
