Ralph V. "Smokey" Perdue Jr.'s Obituary
Perdue Jr., Ralph "Smokey" V. age 59 of Waynesville passed away suddenly Sun. June 16, 2013 as a result of a car accident. Ralph graduated from Waynesville High School, class of '72. He retired from GM after more than 30 years of service, and more recently worked as a bus driver for Wayne Local Schools in Waynesville. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Middletown and was active in IUE Local 801/798. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by one son Warren Perdue and his parents Ralph and Jeannette Perdue. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Judy; son Ryan (Christine) Perdue, one brother Doug (Tracey) Perdue; mother-in-law Thelma Delarose; sister-in-law Barbara (Stephen) Kemp; brother--in-law Paul (Michelle) Torka; nieces and nephews Cole, Christine, and Cassie Perdue, Melissa (Kevin) Kemp, and Andrew, Aaron, Allison, Andrea, and Annie Torka; favorite cousin Debbie (Mark) Shirley and their daughter Allison; and best friend Ken (Bev) McHone. Funeral services 11 AM Fri. June 21 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Burial will be in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 5-8 PM Thurs. at the funeral home.
