To the family of my old buddy "Monteray". The memories I have of Ray are music, laughter and sometimes serious conversations. I always loved leaving on a trip from SV with Ray on our "front door"! We would always have a good time listening to him sing those gospel and country songs in Ray fashion. The jokes and laughter were a gift to us all.
We all were crushed when Ray almost passed after that accident at Portage Lakes. We were kept updated by Chris "Critty: Sword, Ray"s buddy. We were to go see Ray on a Friday evening but were told things didn't look good but our prayers continued and the old rascal came on out of it. It was a tearful reunion with He and your Mom when we did get up to the hospital later on. He always expressed his love for your Mom. I hope in retirement they had good times. I had no idea she had passed and I know it crushed him, I'm sure.
Rest in Peace ,my friend
