Regina A. Carter's Obituary
CARTER, Regina A. age 67 of Wayne Twp., Warren County, died Fri. March 16, 2007. She was born April 14, 1939 in Norma, TN (Scott Co.) to Levi and Viola Bowling. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Alton Bowling, and one son Arnold. She is survived by her husband James, married 41 years; son Jason; brothers Gordon (Lena), David (Lola), Marvin (Kathy) and Danny (Louise) Bowling; and dear friend Carol Auerhammer. Regina graduated from Norma H.S. in Scott Co., TN in 1957 and the Kettering College of Medical Arts in 1979 attaining a Registered Nursing Degree. She practiced her profession at the Kettering Medical Center until her career was shortened due to poor health. She was very proud that she achieved her goal of becoming a R.N. She was a kind, gentle, and caring person who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was her husband’s best friend and soul mate, and also had a special bond with her son. She has had a very difficult time the past five years due to the complications of vascular and renal disease and is now at peace. The family will receive friends 11 A.M.–1 P.M. at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Graveside services will immediately following the visitation at David Cemetery, Dayton.
