Rev. John M. Lamb's Obituary
LAMB, Rev. John M. age 89 of Miamisburg passed away Sat. March 15, 2008 at Friendly Nursing Home in Germantown. He was a WWII Navy veteran and later retired from NCR in 1975. He pastured the Ninth St. Pentecostal Church of God (Block Church) in Miamisburg and the Harveysburg Full Gospel Church for a combined 30 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Nancy in 1999, parents Rev. J.P. and Hulda Lamb, six brothers, and six sisters. He is survived by his son John and his wife Jeri Lamb of Germantown; two daughters Katherine Lamb and Elizabeth and her husband Billy Bush both of Miamisburg; three grandchildren Gary (Lisa) Lamb, Elizabeth Nicole Bush, and Billie Rae-Ann Bush; five great grandchildren Christina (Matthew) Phillips, Jackilyn (Bradley) Wilson, and Heather, Lindsey, and Zackary Lamb; four great great grandchildren Alyson and Abygayle Phillips and Caleb and Austin Wilson; and step mother-in-law Geneva Powell of Germantown. Funeral services noon Wed. March 19 at the Ninth St. Pentecostal Church of God (Block Church) in Miamisburg. Pastor Rick Henry officiating. Burial Highland Memorial Cemetery, Miamisburg.
