Always wearing a mischievous grin, always ready to entertain listeners with a good yarn (perhaps some were true?), Dick became a Waynesville legend who will be missed by us who knew him. RIP Dick.

Very sorry for the loss of Dick. I'm so grateful to him giving me an opportunity to live my dream of opening my own restaurant "The Savory Skillet". Once Dick got to know me he would always "playfully" give me a hard time about things he knew would get me riled up.He was a great story teller and a good man. I will miss him. Deirdre and I offer our sincerest condolences and praying for the family.
