Richard "Oddgee" A. Scherer's Obituary
SCHERER, Richard “Oddgee” A., age 77, of Waynesville, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Lebanon Health Care Center.
Richard served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from the City of Centerville in 2006 after 35 years of service.
Quiet, hardworking, and supporting of his family, Richard greatly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. An avid sports fan, he also enjoyed watching sports in his free time, and enjoyed playing basketball during his younger days.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Etta, in 2009; his parents Paul A. and Cecilia Scherer Sr.; and two brothers Roy and Paul A. Scherer Jr. He is survived by his daughter Amanda Snyder; four grandchildren Isa Bauer, Ian Bauer, Brett Snyder, and Baylie Snyder; and one brother David (Irene) Scherer.
