Richard A. Morgan's Obituary
MORGAN, Richard A. age 81 of Dayton passed away Tues. Sept. 5, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. Richard was a WWII Marine Veteran and later retired from the B&O Railroad in 1987 after 32 years of service. He was a member of the Fairborn First Baptist Church and greatly enjoyed traveling and spending quality time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Martha, married 43 years; two sons Jack Carter of Troy and Bret and his wife Sue Carter of Beavercreek; two daughters Nancy and her husband Randy Britton of Vandalia and Penny Carter of FL; five grandchildren Kyle, Ryan, Dustin, Danielle, and Donald; two brothers Jim and his wife Phyllis Morgan of Xenia and Gene and his wife Mary Morgan of TN; and three sisters Nancy Compton of Xenia, Carolyn and her husband Bob Melvin of Spring Valley, and Janie and her husband Dan Huff of Washington C.H. Funeral services 10:30 A.M. Sat. Sept. 9 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Pastor David Rakes officiating. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 9:30-10:30 A.M. Sat. at the funeral home. If desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
