Richard "Dick" Barr's Obituary
BARR, Richard "Dick" C. age 75 of Kettering passed away Fri. Dec. 10, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton. Dick was born June 10, 1935 to Theodore and Ellen Barr in Dayton. He was an Air Force veteran and retired from NCR in 1993 after 37 years of service. He was a member of the Mighty Fortress Lutheran Church, Kettering. He enjoyed golfing, guns and knives, and target shooting. He was preceded in death by one daughter Kimberly Anne Barr. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marilynn; son and daughter-in-law Rick and Vickie Barr; daughter and son-in-law Shelly and Mark Thomas; three grandchildren Jennifer and her husband Matt Gerspacher, Amanda Thomas, and Rick Barr; two great grandchildren Caleb and Judah all of Kettering; sister and brother-in-law Sonya and Mike Goecke of Oakwood; two nieces Michelle and Lisa; and one nephew Todd. Funeral services Noon Tues. Dec. 14 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 10 AM-Noon Tues. at the funeral home.
