Robert "Bob" J. Anderson's Obituary
Anderson, Robert “Bob” J., age 66, of Waynesville, passed away on June 13, 2018 at the University of Cincinnati Hospital. He was born in Burlington, WI on June 5, 1952, only child of Roy and Anna Anderson. He is survived by his wife, Janice, of 38 years; his daughter, Jennifer (John) Ward; and his dog “Petey boy”.
After 25 years of service with Armour-Eckrich in Columbus, he retired in September 2017. Following retirement, he continued to stay busy by working at an auto auction, driving for Uber (and was very proud of all of his 5 stars!) and delivering trucks for TruckMovers. When Bob was not working one of his three retirement jobs, you could likely find him on the golf course and frequently at Locust Hills Golf Club in Springfield, where he was a member and enjoyed playing in a league. Additionally, Bob enjoyed cars (especially Ford Mustangs); riding his Harley; going to golf tournaments, car shows and tractor pulls; and could always be found working on a project (which was always done to perfection). He had an outgoing personality, could make new friends with ease and always maintained a busy and active lifestyle. He was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Waynesville for 30+ years.
The family will receive friends 5-8pm on Monday, June 18, followed by a funeral service on Tuesday, June 19 at 11am, both at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. Pastor Tim Noble and David Dixon will be officiating. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
