Robert "Bob" E. Young Jr.'s Obituary
YOUNG, Robert “Bob” E. Jr. age 67, of Jamestown, passed away Wed. Dec. 28, 2016 at Fayette County Memorial Hospital. Bob was an Air Force veteran who served in Korea. For over 45 years, he worked as a truck driver for various companies. He attended A House of Prayer Church in Xenia. He was preceded in death his parents Robert E. Young Sr. and Edna Young; one brother David Young; and one brother-in-law Glidden Sparkman. He is survived by one son Robert E. (Katie) Young III; two daughters Laura (Mark) Hargis and Jessica Rinehart; five grandchildren John Hargis (Becca Marino), Hunter Hargis (Kimberly Knight), Zachary Young, Morgan Young, and Precious Rinehart; one great granddaughter Keyleigh Hargis; one brother Mike (Karen) Young; two sisters Loreda Sparkman and Linda (Charlie) Hite; one sister-in-law Sue Young; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. Funeral services 11 AM Tues., Jan. 3 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Pastor Mark Brooks will be officiating. Burial will be in Silver Creek Cemetery, Jamestown. The family will receive friends 6 - 8 PM Mon. at the funeral home. If desired, contributions may be made to the Dayton Veteran’s Association or a charity of your choice.
