Robert Russell Bolling's Obituary
BOLLING, Robert Russell, age 51, of Dayton and formerly of Okeechobee, Florida, passed away Monday, September 8, 2025, at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
Robert graduated from Fairmont High School in Kettering. For the last thirty years, he has been working in maintenance with a specialty in apartment maintenance. He was baptized and attended Rivers Crossing Church.
As a perfectionist, he was sassy, kindhearted, and loving, but at times he could be a spitfire. He loved the fall season when it meant he could cheer on his beloved Cincinnati Bengals. Motorcycles and dirt bikes were always a big part of his life. He always had a few in his garage and was constantly working on them. He enjoyed cruising through the country, racing at the East Fork Motocross Park in New Vienna, or just getting lost in the woods. His beloved companions were his Chihuahua, Sophie, and his Jack Russell Terrier, Bella. He loved being around his family, especially during the holidays and family cookouts. Some of his most cherished memories were of taking his grandchildren fishing. Among many things, he will be remembered for the love he had for his children, grandchildren, and his beloved dogs.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael David Bolling and Christopher Eric Bolling; brother-in-law, Butch Kirby; and nephew, Michael Haas. He is survived by his son, Andrew Bolling; daughter, Ashlee (Bryan) Parsons; two grandchildren, Levi and Cohen Parsons; his parents, Jerry (Barb) Bolling and Betty Bolling; three brothers, Jerry Bolling Jr., James “Pat” (Renee) Bolling, and Tony Bolling; two sisters, Teresa D. Kirby and Debbie (Don) Thompson; significant other, Kimberly Johnson; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, September 11, at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. In honor of Robert's love for the Cincinnati Bengals, the family requests that everyone wear their favorite Bengals gear to the visitation and funeral. The family will receive friends from 11 AM to 1 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral expenses. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
