Robert Carter Sr.'s Obituary
Carter, Robert “Bob” L. Sr. age 79 of Waynesville passed away Thurs. Sept. 21, 2006 at Quaker Heights N.H., Waynesville. He was a WWII Navy Veteran retired from Union Carpenters Local 113. He was a member of the Waynesville United Methodist Church and greatly enjoyed gardening, the Cincinnati Bengals and Reds, and taking care of the church. He was preceded in death by one brother Eugene Carter and his parents Robert and Lillian Carter. He is survived by his wife Shirley, married 57 years, two sons and daughters-in-law Bobby and Willadean Carter of Waynesville and Paul and Trena Carter of Xenia, six grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law Neil and Carole Carter of Waynesville, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services 11:00 A.M. Mon. Sept. 25 at the Waynesville United Methodist Church. Rev. Tammy Jo Reiser officiating. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 5-8 P.M. Sun. at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. If desired, contributions may be made to the church.
