Robert A. "Peewee" Wooldridge's Obituary
WOOLDRIDGE, Robert A. “Peewee”, age 89, of Waynesville, passed away Fri. June 17, 2016 at Southview Hospital. Robert previously worked as a coal miner for 10 years and more recently as a machinist for 50 years. He greatly enjoyed gardening and hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Carrie Wooldridge; four brothers John Lee, James, Carl, and Ed; and three sisters Robbie, Louise, and Annette. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Millie.; one son Bobby Ray (Debbie) Wooldridge; two daughters Carolyn (Charlie) Campbell and Brenda Sue (Darrell) Bunch; seven grandchildren Charlotte (Matt) Van Hoose, Cyndi (Adrian) Jordan, Brian (Danielle) Bunch, David (Katie) Bunch, Becky (B.J.) Stone, Rob (Sarah) Wooldridge, and Heather (Anthony) Linville; 15 great grandchildren Quentin and Carson Van Hoose, Vance and Avery Jordan, Camille Jordan, Brady and Bryce Stone, Amelia and Henry Bunch, Ophelia and Jackson Bunch, Sam and Connor Wooldridge, and Shyanna and Kyle Linville; and one sister Sue (Hubbert) Hatfield. Service will be 1 pm Tues. June 21 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery. The family will receive friends 11 am – 1 pm Tues. at the funeral home.
