Ronald L. King's Obituary
KING, Ronald L., age 77, of Waynesville, passed away Mon. Nov. 30, 2015 at his residence. Ron graduated from Carlisle High School in Carlisle, KY in 1956. He was an Air Force veteran and retired from Delco Products in 1998 after 28 years of service. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Lebanon and lifetime member of the Waynesville American Legion Post 615. He greatly enjoyed his horses, his Cool Million Stables, the Cleveland Browns, UK, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Rodney King, his parents Maurice and Ruth King; and one sister Marlyn Wynia. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Kathryn; two daughters Joanne (David) Wilson and Jodie (Brad) Measel; daughter-in-law Camille; eight grandchildren Amy (Matthew) Letts, Ashley (Ben) Combs, Allison (Aaron) Dodge, Evan, Dylan, and Michael Wilson, and Joseph and Alex King; four great grandchildren Madalynn, Rachel, Arison, and Ani Jo; and three sisters Barbara Warren, Rita (Mike) Runyan, and Vickie Ring. A celebration of life service will be held 1 PM Fri. Dec. 4 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Brian Bennett will be the celebrant. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin.
