Ronald B. Wolfenbarger's Obituary
WOLFENBARGER, Ronald B., age 75, of Dayton, passed away peacefully at his home Sunday, April 2, 2023, with his wife and children gathered around him.
Ronald received an associate degree from Miami Jacobs College in accounting. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. For most of his life, nearly 50 years, he worked in the printing and binding business, retiring in 2018. Ronald’s faith was also an important part of his life, as he was a member of the Revealed Truth Tabernacle in Springboro. His commitment to his faith was evident in all aspects of his life. He was known for being a kind and compassionate person, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He found comfort and support in his church community and used his faith to guide him throughout his life. Through his love of gospel music, he touched the souls of many and brought people together through the power of music by playing bass at the church.
His infectious energy and charm made him the life of the party, and everyone loved spending time with him. He had a talent for making people feel comfortable and included, and he never hesitated to strike up a conversation with anyone he met. It seemed as though there was never a dull moment when he was around. He always seemed to have a new joke or funny story to share, and his wit and humor were unmatched. He loved to make people laugh and had a gift for it. Despite his outgoing nature, he was also a great listener. He genuinely cared about his friends and family, and he always made time to listen to their problems and concerns. He was a shoulder to cry on and a source of comfort for those who needed it. Whether cracking jokes, telling stories, or just being himself, he always brought joy and happiness to those around him. Overall, he was a true social butterfly who loved to spread happiness and laughter wherever he went. His light-hearted nature and contagious smile will always be remembered by those who knew him. He never minded having the attention drawn to him and loved entertaining his family and friends. He looked forward to family gatherings, especially Thanksgiving, Christmas, and birthdays. He was happiest when at home surrounded by his kids and grandkids.
When he was younger, he enjoyed racing cars and received many trophies. He also took up golfing and enjoyed the challenge of getting a hole-in-one. Over the years, he collected several beloved eagles. He always admired how majestic they were. Among many things, he will be remembered for his love of his family and his devotion of praying for them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Wolfenbarger and Jean (Homer) Foster, and one brother, Paul Stanley Wolfenbarger. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Teresa; two sons, John (Heather) Wolfenbarger and Adam (Megan) Hamilton; three daughters, Valerie (Jim) Bodine, Renee (Jason) Lincoln, and Melody Spence; 17 grandchildren, Emma, Codey, Katie, Hope, Dominic, Braden, Hunter, Ashlyn, Brooklyn, Shiloh, Abigail, Michael, Gracie, Lily, Titan, Gia, and Theodore; three great-grandchildren, Liliana, Asher, and Ella; and one sister, Paula Taylor.
