Ronnie L. Elam's Obituary
ELAM, Ronnie L., age 69, of Lebanon and formerly of Oregonia, passed away Fri., Oct. 18, 2019 at Bethesda North Hospital.
Ronnie was a Lebanon High School graduate, class of ’70. He retired from Texas Eastern in Monroe after 21 years of service.
Fun-loving, outgoing, funny, and ornery, Ronnie was always the life of the party. He greatly enjoyed playing cards, fishing in Oregonia, OSU football, the Cincinnati Reds, and NASCAR-especially Jimmy Johnson. His favorite memories were made during the times when going out and hanging with his friends. Described as a meat and potato kind of guy, Pepsi and Twinkies were also some of his favorites.
He was preceded in death by his parents Marshall and Emogene Elam and one brother Tim Elam. He is survived by two daughters Kara (Jeff) Bailey and Krista (Brian) Ohair; five grandchildren Caitlin Jordan, Jackie Ohair, Jenna Ohair, Emma Ohair, and Mason Ohair; great grandson Tristan; one brother Michael Elam (Missy); three sisters Tina Elam, Deb (Sonny) Hormel, and Angie (John) Gilbert; and sister-in-law Peggy Elam.
