Rosie "Dolly" Wiwi's Obituary
WIWI, Rosie “Dolly”, age 82, of Waynesville and formerly of Cincinnati, passed away Sat. March 30, 2019 at Ohio Living Quaker Heights in Waynesville.
Rosie worked several years for KDI Corporation in Beechmont and retired from CTL Aerospace in Cincinnati after nearly 10 more years of service.
Always a perfectionist, Rosie was energetic, beautiful, and oftentimes outspoken. She was a Master Gardener and won many awards for her beautiful landscaping work. She also kept a half acre vegetable garden and took great pride in her ability to grow just about anything. Along with her late husband, she enjoyed the many years that they spent in the Tavares area of Florida during the winters and one especially memorable trip out to the western part of the United States. She also enjoyed visiting yard sales and flea markets in her free time.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, in 2016; daughter Shirley Coffey, a grandson Ryan Coffey; her parents Ibra and Marie (Hall) Martin; brother Anon Martin; and two sisters Maywood Amburgey and Miami Martin. She is survived by three daughters Brenda (Steve) Vontz, Dianna (Doug) Dahlenburg, and Sharon (Stephen) Geers; seven grandchildren Jason Carrier, Darrin Coffey, Matthew Coffey, Brandon Coffey, Laura Dahlenburg, Stephanie Reid, and Lindsay Sander; many great grandchildren; and two brothers Amon and Namon Martin.
