Rusty Kevin Clark's Obituary
CLARK, Rusty Kevin, age 65, of Harveysburg, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021 at his residence. He was born April 10, 1956 to Ronald and Anna Belle Clark.
Rusty would do anything for anyone and never knew a stranger. As a result of his outgoing personality, he created a long list of friends over the years. He retired in 2005 from Airborne in Wilmington after 16 years of being a mechanic. His passion was working on cars, watching car races, attending car shows, especially Owensville’s car show, and most importantly racing cars at Kil-Kare Raceway in Xenia. When he was younger, he enjoyed hunting. In his later years he enjoyed mushroom hunting, playing pool, and gardening. He also enjoyed growing a variety of different vegetables in his garden. He was a member of the Johnny Burton Memorial VFW Post 1646 in Harveysburg and the Wilmington American Legion Post 49.
Rusty loved his family with all his heart, greatly enjoyed watching his grandkids play sports, and always looked forward to going on the family vacations. They always traveled to a beach where there was warm weather and sand.
He was preceded in death by his father Ronald and one brother Rick Clark. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Sheila; daughter and son-in-law Jenny and Scott Huddleson; two grandchildren Cooper and Ashley; grand-dog Hank; his mother Anna Belle Clark; four brothers Ronald Kent (June) Clark, Ritchie (Debbie) Clark, Bart (DeeAnn) Clark, and Bret (Denise) Clark; one sister Angela (Stan) Paris; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, July 9 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 5 PM - 8 PM Thursday July 8 at the funeral home. If desired, contributions may be made to Johnny Burton Memorial VFW Post 1646 in Harveysburg.
