Ruth A. Heffner's Obituary
HEFFNER, Ruth Agnes age 89 of Waynesville passed away Sat. Oct. 13, 2007 at Quaker Heights Nursing Home, Waynesville. She was a member of the St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church in Lebanon for 20 years, St. Augustine Catholic Church in Waynesville for over 40 years, and 40 year member and past president of the American Legion Auxiliary post 186 in Lebanon. She was the widow of Marium Guttery who died in 1941 and Chester Heffner who died in 1977. She was the last surviving child of 10 to the late Walter and Stella Marconet. She was also preceded in death by a son James “Jim” Heffner. She is survived by her children Martha Kamps, Mary Combs, David Guttery, and Joseph “Joe” Heffner; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. She was just plain Mom, Grandma, or Aunt Ruth! Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Thurs. Oct. 18 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Father Raymond Kammerer celebrant. Burial Bethany United Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Wed. at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville.
