Ruth M Cramer's Obituary
CRAMER, Ruth Mae (Walter) 88, of Waynesville died of natural causes Tues. Aug. 11, 2009 at Quaker Heights Care Community in Waynesville. She was born May 20, 1921 in Columbia City, IN of the late David A. and Etta Mae (McIntyre) Walter. Ruth graduated from Indiana Univ. in Bloomington, IN with a BS in Education Dec. 1944. She taught school in Elkhart, IN and worked for Hayne & Co. in NJ at which time she met her husband, Hugh. She was a dedicated wife and mother for 55 years. She volunteered with many organizations including Girl Scouts and the Dayton Museum of Natural History. She greatly enjoyed and was very supportive of the many cultural arts throughout the Dayton area. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Hugh W. Cramer. She is survived by her sister-in-law Genny Walter of Fort Wayne, IN; daughters Janie Cramer (John) Voehringer of Waynesville, Linda Koch of Middletown, and Candis "C'Ann" (Tom) Schoeppner of Marietta; son David Cramer; grandchildren Robbie (Erin), Ashlee and Isaac Voehringer, Elizabeth, Danny, Nicholas, and Sarah Schoeppner, and Shelby and Rainier Cramer. She also loved being an aunt and had 15 nieces and nephews and 37 great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2 PM Sat. Sept. 12 at the Lytle United Methodist Church, 8464 Lytle Ferry Rd., Waynesville, OH 45068. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville is serving the family.
