Sharron "Sue" Boring's Obituary
BORING, Sharron “Sue”, age 78, of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2025, at home surrounded by loved ones.
Sue retired after almost 20 years at MetLife Insurance and formerly attended the Urbancrest Baptist Church in Lebanon.
Friendly, independent, and caring, Sue was family-oriented, loving, and supportive to her family and friends. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids. Always fond of southern-style cooking, Sue enjoyed cooking for her kids when they were growing up. In addition, she was very close to her sisters and always looked forward to getting together with them. Sue and her sisters were referred to as “the Golden Girls” because of the way they got along. In addition, she had a soft spot for her dogs, especially Petey, who she felt was more like a family member than a pet.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Juanita Gooch. She is survived by her son, Randy (Vicki) Boring; her daughter, Rhonda (Will) Moore; four grandchildren, Zachary (Bre) Boring, Dakota Boring, Parker Boring, and Ryan Phelps; three sisters, Sheryl Ray, Sandy Gregg, and Sherry (Wes) Childs; and several nieces and nephews.
Private services at the convenience of the family. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family. Burial will be at Miami Cemetery in Corwin.
