Sheila F. Hawkins' Obituary
HAWKINS, Sheila F., age 64, of Maineville, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at her residence.
Loving, giving, supportive, nurturing, caring, and generous, Sheila was a thankful person who found joy in the simple things. She greatly enjoyed being outdoors in her flip flops working in her vegetable and flower gardens, sewing, and reading her Bible. She also enjoyed listening to 80’s music on her Pandora. She loved to go shopping, especially garage sales, visiting antique stores, and finding deals at the local dollar stores and the now-closed Big Bear store. However, nothing compared to the joy she received by spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Among many things, she will be remembered for her love to her son and family. Some of the favorite memories that will never be forgotten will be the numerous weekend camping and fishing trips when she was younger, and the family trips to Kentucky and Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis, in 2004 and her sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Frank McCall. She is survived by her forever loved one son, James (Jaqui) Johnson; three grandchildren, Caihla (Chase) Walker, Ashlee Johnson, and Jimmie Johnson Jr.; three great grandchildren, Charlee, Carter, and Cannon; and one great grandchild on the way, Kynnedi.
Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, October 13 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery. The family will receive friends 11 AM - 1 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
