Sherman "Chet" Woods' Obituary
WOODS, Sherman "Chet", 83, of Waynesville, passed away peacefully Mon. Nov. 21, 2016 at his residence. Chet, beloved husband of Julia "Judy" of 56 years; loving father of Todd, Darryl (Connie), and Paul Woods; adored grandfather of five, Rusty, Tim, Hollie, Briann, and, Katie; and great grandfather of four. He was also survived by a sister Ruth (Jerry) James, and a nephew Phil Mills, who he considered more as a son. Chet was an Air Force veteran. He retired from NCR in 1976 after 24 1/2 years of service, and more recently from Dayton Progress after 15 years. Chet was a Master Mason for 55 years and a member of the Scottish Rite. He was an Auxiliary Ohio State patrolman and a Harveysburg volunteer fireman. There will be a private family service. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville is serving the family.
