Shirley A. Thompson's Obituary
THOMPSON, Shirley A., age 75 of Mason, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at her residence.
Caring, loving, and sweet, Shirley greatly enjoyed flower gardening and trying to hit the jackpot while playing slots at Miami Valley Gaming. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles. Among many things, she will be remembered for how much she enjoyed making Christmas special for the family. From elaborate decorations to big meals, she went all out during the Christmas holidays to ensure everyone had fond memories.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren, in 2005; her parents Alfred and Mabel Morgan; two brothers Robert and Ronald Morgan; and her sister Bobbie Lovely. She is survived by her son Tim (Bobbi) Morgan; three daughters Nora (Clint) Nance, Lora (Mike) Rice, and JoAnn (Danny) Powell; 15 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday, April 19 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 11 AM - 1 PM Monday at the funeral home.
