Stephen D. Cole's Obituary
COLE, Stephen D., age 67, of Waynesville and formerly of Merritt Island, FL, passed away Mon. Oct. 29, 2018 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash.
Stephen served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He retired in 2009 from Florida Power and Light. He was a member of the Waynesville American Legion Post 615. He greatly enjoyed working on classic cars, auto racing, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Forest and Maretta Cole. He is survived by two sons Sam (Cecilia) Cole and Joshua Cole; two granddaughters Evie and Lola; one brother Rick (Kathy) Cole; one sister Debbie (Eddie) Bray; step-mother Nancy (Grey) Johnson; one nephew Jeremy (Fawn) Cole; and three nieces Amy (Nick) Steiner, Nikki (Mike) Kemp, and Lindsey (Keith) Parrett.
A celebration of life gathering will begin at 2 PM Sat. Nov. 24 at the Waynesville American Legion Post 615. Military honors will begin at 3 pm.
