Stephen Rexford Van Hoose's Obituary
Van Hoose, Stephen Rexford age 73 of Waynesville passed away Wed. April 22, 2015. Stephen graduated from Valley Local High School, class of '60, and later received a bachelor’s degree from UC. In his 25 year career at NCR, he was involved in the finance area and held several positions. Following NCR he worked at Premiere Builders Supply in Beavercreek for 13 years. He was a kind and patient man whom greatly enjoyed fishing in his retirement, reading, and was the best father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his father William Rexford Van Hoose. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Charlotte Richardson Van Hoose; two sons David (Kristin) and Jason (Trisha) Van Hoose; six grandchildren Stephanie, Melanie, Chloe, Sarah, Kaitlyn, and Marissa; his mother Dorothy Van Hoose; and one sister Joan (John) Adaway. Funeral services 3 PM Mon. April 27 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Bob Jones will be officiating. The family will receive friends 2-3 PM Mon. at the Funeral Home.
