Steven E. Huffman's Obituary
HUFFMAN, Steven E., age 60, of Hamilton and formerly of Waynesville and Lebanon, passed away Mon. Feb. 26, 2018 at Wellington Manor in Hamilton.
Steven was a 1975 graduate of Waynesville High School. He had a passion for music and playing the organ and also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his dog, July. Steven was known to have a gruff exterior but was a big teddy bear on the inside. He never met a stranger and had an outgoing personality. He was a movie buff and enjoyed monster movies, especially ones related to Godzilla.
He was preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Delores Huffman and one sister Cynthia Hochchild. He is survived by one daughter Ashlea; three sisters Donna Huffman, Rebecca (Anderson “A.Y.”) Messer, and Susan Huffman; two nieces Samantha (Toni) Pickle and Cassandra Cook; and three nephews Vincent Larson, Sammy (Erica) Larson, and Andrew Brown.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Sat. March 3 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin. James Asher will be officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Fri. at the funeral home. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
