We were so blessed to have known Suzy and to have been present at her Celebration of Life today. We will continue to pray for Chip, Connie, Joan,Todd, Kathleen, Matthew, Katy, Gavin, Jesse, the Staff at The Kennel and her extended family and dear friends for the days and weeks to come. Suzy, Dick and I were brought together by a dog, imagine that. I'd admired Suzy's dedication and talent as a dog trainer and handler even before we became friends. Suzy had loved the Dobermans I bred when she met Dream, this was before we knew each other. She said she loved my dogs because they had beautiful minds and bodies, lol dog people.... Suzy aspired to own one someday and that she did. Suzy and Dick owned Fifi with me. Fifi was a daughter of Dream.
Our journeys began in 2011. We had so much fun driving all over the countryside from state to state and show to show. I was showing Fifi, in conformation and Suzy was showing her sister Star, in obedience. Fifi was winning Best In Shows and Star was winning High In Trials. Dick was so proud! What a great team we made. We had such wonderful accomplishments as a team. Our Fifi would go on to make breed history! I've struggled with Suzy's passing because she had such a love and zest for life. Her energy was truly unmatchable and her passing has struck me as unimaginable. How could anything remove her light from this world. Over the years Suzy and I lost touch. Life has a way of changing dynamics suddenly. Responsibilities change and our priorities can take us in different directions. The last time we were brought together was Dick's funeral, I'm saddened that the next time will be her funeral. Dick, Suzy, Fifi and Star are in the pictures that I've shared. I sure hope that they found each other in Heaven.
The picture of Suzy, Fifi and Dick was taken in Troy, Ohio this was the day we became team Fifi! Three of the pictures are Suzy and Star. the other picture is at Westminster, Suzy and dick are in the crowd watching their girls do their thing, I drew a double heart around them. That evening Fifi would make all the way to the Best in Show class, what a night we had! The last picture was at the top dog of the year party where Fifi was awarded top working dog. The picture on Facebook stopped my scrolling. I KNEW that smile. Oh my… it is dear Suzy Lundy. Haven’t seen her in years but loved being around her back when we were competing in obedience trials. She was always a bright spot, and so was her husband, Dick. You two graced this earth for a time and brought joy to many. Enjoy your heavenly home, dear ones.

Suzy’s caring heart showed in everything she touched. She was so patient with our nervous puppy and it seems her same love for our pets is now instilled in everyone who ever worked for her. She will be missed so much.
