Tammy L. Manning-Gross' Obituary
MANNING-GROSS, Tammy L., age 47, of Waynesville, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019.
Tammy was a nurturing soul, whose passion was working with children. She loved her role in the Children’s Ministry at Fellowship of Praise Church, and she was an unyielding advocate for foster care.
You could always find Tammy with a smile on her face and maybe it was her wit and humor, or maybe it was her genuine caringness, but you could count on walking away from Tammy with a smile on yours.
Tammy enjoyed taking and sharing photos with family and friends, and she never met an animal she couldn’t rescue. Christmas was her favorite time of the year, not only for the excuse to decorate her house (and everyone else’s) but also because she cherished the true meaning of Christmas.
Aside from her family and her faith, Tammy’s other true loves were gardening, especially with her father; enjoying a good tomato; Pepsi in a can; and salt, which she considered a major food group.
Tammy’s life defined the world selfless and her light in this world will shine through those whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Pat Manning. She is survived by her husband of nearly 10 years, Mark; three children, Kyla, Isabella, and Isaiah; her father, Bobby Manning; her brother, Robert (Kelly) Manning; two sisters, Lisa (Ron) McCloskey and Tina Manning (Chris Pennekamp); furry canine friend, Roscoe; and countless loving family members and friends.
The family will receive friends 11 AM – 1 PM Saturday, June 29, immediately followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 1 PM. Pastor Matt Morgan will be officiating the services at Fellowship of Praise Church, 8625 East State Route 22&3, Clarksville, Ohio 45113. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to support Tammy’s passion for Children’s Ministry to the Fellowship of Praise Building Fund, https://fopchurch.net/give or P.O. Box 381, Clarksville, Ohio 45113. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
