Teresa A. Lindsey's Obituary
LINDSEY, Teresa Ann, born November 6, 1965, of Waynesville, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022.
Teresa graduated from Waynesville High School, class of ’84. She worked the majority of her life in the medical field for CareStar in the clerical department.
Outgoing, caring, and family oriented, Teresa was friendly and well-liked by all who knew her. She enjoyed staying home and spending quality time with her family. Her son, in particular, was her greatest joy in life, and caring for him was her highest priority. She also loved flowers, and greatly enjoyed the warmer months when she could get outside to work in her flower beds. The Christmas season, however, was her favorite time of the year. She mainly loved Christmas so much to bring joy to her son, which she always ensured had the best holiday each year. She appreciated antiques, especially glassware. Her favorite tradition included traveling back to West Virginia to visit family, which is where her mom and grandma lived. In addition, the time spent with her grandma shopping and visiting Dairy Queen became some of her fondest memories. Along with her grandma and aunt, she never missed a year attending the Ohio Sauerkraut Festival in Waynesville, which became another tradition that she looked forward to every year.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Johnson. She is survived by her beloved son, Austin Williams; her boyfriend of 10 years, Mike; her mom, Drema Johnson (Smith); and her brother Jerry Leon Johnson and his spouse; and numerous extended family members.
A celebration of life service will be 2:30 PM Saturday, June 4 at W.C.C.C. at the Atrium Campus in Middletown. Dana Wilkerson will be officiating. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
