Teri L. Evers' Obituary
EVERS, Teri L., age 67, of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.
Teri dedicated her life to caring for others, with a career in healthcare that spanned decades. She graduated from the Butler County School of Practical Nursing in 1979 and began her nursing journey at Lebanon Medical Group. She later cared for patients at Middletown Regional Hospital, where she was recognized as Nurse of the Month for her dedication and compassion. Teri returned to school to earn her RN degree from Miami University, graduating in 2009. She continued her work at Atrium Hospital, transitioned to Crossroads Hospice, and concluded her nursing career as a triage nurse for an OBGYN office in the Kettering Health Network.
Hardworking, friendly, kind, and fun-loving, Teri had a nurturing spirit that touched both family and strangers alike. In her younger years, she was a pitcher on the high school softball team and sang in the school choir, reflecting her athletic, creative, and team-spirited nature. She had a deep love for music, especially live performances. She enjoyed attending concerts and local events. Dancing was one of her greatest joys, often paired with her love for music. She also enjoyed flower gardening, shopping, and making everyday moments special.
Family was the heart of Teri’s world. Whether it was a simple drive or a large holiday gathering, she treasured every moment spent with loved ones. She created cherished traditions, including her holiday cinnamon rolls and bacon, which will live on through her daughter and granddaughter. Known affectionately as a “Diet Coke-aholic,” she was rarely without her favorite drink in hand. Above all, she will be remembered for her special and unbreakable bond with her daughter and granddaughter, who saw her as perfect in every way.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Phyllis Minton, and her brother, Rick Minton (Faith). She is survived by her daughter, Monique Evers; granddaughter, Riley Jenks; Riley’s father, Jeffrey Jenks; brothers, Billy Minton, Doug (Sharon) Minton, Junior (Trina) Minton, and Vic Minton; sisters, Linda (Jeff) Manley and Lori Atkinson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Queen City Hospice for their loving and attentive care.
The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 pm on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. A celebration of life will immediately follow at 4 pm at the funeral home. If desired, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in her honor. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
