Betty and Tracey, I just left a message, and I have to add one more thought. One of Tom's oldest friends was Mike Thoma...I know they had so many, many good times and laughs... Mike, unfortunately passed away in Nov. 2004, but he had us laughing so much with stories of Tom. A wonderful group of guys and friends. And Mike's wife Sue, told me the other day, I'm sure Mike is there to greet and welcome Tom! Blessings, Karen and Brian Higgins.
Betty and Tracey, Well, your wonderful Husband and Father was the sweetest and caring person I knew....Brian has known Tom since the 4th grade. They've always kept in touch and been such good friends. Betty, you and Tom were always so great to me all those years ago. I can just sit and think of all the stories Brian and Tom would tell, and laugh about from their teenage years. You have to think of all those good, and funny times. He would have done anything for anybody that asked..Just a good man!!!! Brian and James are on their way up to Ohio as we speak. We had hoped to get there to see y'all, but time ran out on us. So just know you're not forgotten, never will be and we'll all be so lucky to have known such a warm, funny, caring guy!!!! Always a smile for you!!!! We were very sorry to hear of Tom's death. I have fond memories of visiting with him while giving him haircuts. He was always nice to talk with!

Tom will be missed by his loving family and friends. I remember the years of baseball with Tom coaching Scott and well as our son. He was always ready to lend a helping hand in anything that needed to be done for family or friends. He was so active with the kids and his woodworking~always something to be completed! He has earned those angel wings on high!

I was a classmate of Tom’s at Alter High School. He was a friend and we shared some time together. Looking back Tom was big guy probable best described as a gentle giant. He was fun to hang with. Lost touch after high school and just recently reconnected on Facebook. When he shared his situation he was so upbeat and positive I was shocked to hear the news. Then again Tom wanted us to think the best and didn’t let on to the uphill battle he faced. I can tell you this, we are all better people for knowing him and he will be missed. I will keep you and your family in my prayers during this very difficult time. God Bless.
