Timothy "Tim" L. Morgan's Obituary
MORGAN, Timothy “Tim” L., age 64, of Mason, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026.
Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Thompson. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Bobbie; his three daughters, Billi Norris, Angel Morgan (Stanley Owens), Danielle (Tony) Brooks; his three sons, Josh (Melissa) Peters, Michael (Kay) Vinson, and Dylan Neeley; 15 grandchildren, Damion, Diger, Dustin, Joey, David, Aidan, Bella, Lexi, Matthew, Austin, Lilith, Sterlin, Genesis, Derrek, and Braxton; 13 great-grandchildren; his father, Raymond Maines; and his three sisters, Nora (Clint) Nance, Lora (Mike) Rice, and JoAnn (Danny) Powell.
Tim graduated from Little Miami High School, class of ’80. He retired from Morrow Lumber after more than 20 years of service as a truck driver.
He enjoyed life in his own unique way. He was known for his outgoing personality, playful spirit with his grandchildren, straightforward nature, and the big heart he had for those he cared about most. Earlier in life, Tim enjoyed fishing and still looked forward to occasionally taking his grandchildren out to fish with him. He especially loved visiting casinos and playing the slot machines, making countless trips to casinos throughout the region. Some of his favorite casinos to travel to were the Horseshoe Casino in Louisville and Tunica, Mississippi. In addition, he loved the Argosy Casino Hotel & Spa, where he even won a Mini Cooper during one of his visits.
He was an avid watcher of westerns and especially enjoyed following both local and national news. He would watch the news over and over as the day progressed and often recorded the broadcasts so he would not miss anything throughout the day. In addition, he had many unique interests and collections over the years, including a fascination of aliens, Hot Wheels, clocks, nutcrackers, and clowns. In true Tim fashion, he was also well known for strongly disliking blueberries and never hesitated to let people know it.
Some of Tim’s favorite memories were made during Christmas time with his family, especially the horse parade in Lebanon. He enjoyed attending the Ohio Sauerkraut Festival and the hill climb in Oregonia. Above everything else, Tim was most proud of the life he built alongside his beloved wife and the 29 years they shared together.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family. Condolences may be sent to the family at https://www.stubbsconner.com.
