Vena Watson's Obituary
WATSON, Vena Z. age 92 of Waynesville passed away Fri. March 11, 2011 at Heartland of Centerville. Vena was a member of the Waynesville First Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, watching the Gaithers, and cooking. Devoted to her family and friends, she spent her life serving the Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband Freeman in 1993; one daughter Emma Lee Watson; two grandsons Jimmy Dean Stapleton and Wesley Stapleton; great grandson David Mason Cooper; great great grandson Jacob Keelan Watson; and one sister Luda Watson. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law Marguerite and Jim Stapleton and Doris and Julian Farley, son and daughter-in-law Carlos and Awana Watson, 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren. Funeral services 1 PM Tues. March 15 at the Waynesville First Baptist Church. Pastor Bill Perry officiating. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 4-8 PM Mon. at the church.
