Vikki L. Lehman's Obituary
LEHMAN, Vikki L., age 72, of Wilmington, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Clinton Memorial Hospital.
Vikki graduated from Waynesville High School, class of ’67. She was a member of Bible Missionary Baptist Church in Wilmington.
Independent, outgoing, strong-willed, and caring, Vikki greatly enjoyed sewing and crafts. In addition, she was an excellent cook, with her homemade spaghetti and apple pies being her most savored delectables. Among many things, she will be remembered for how much she enjoyed the seasons of the year. She enjoyed the fall and winter seasons so much that she moved back from Florida partly because she enjoyed the seasonal changes.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Chamblin; parents Floyd and Grace Lynch; and one brother Donald Lynch. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ronald Lehman; son Marc (Lisa) Chamblin; daughter Heather (Anthony) Mortara; five grandchildren Adam (Katie) Chamblin, Alyssa Mortara, Jacob Chamblin, Kent Mortara, and Lucas Chamblin; one great-grandchild on the way; one brother Charles “Chuck” (Carol) Lynch; and his sister Darlene Noble.
A graveside memorial service will be held in the future at Miami Cemetery, Corwin. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville. Condolences at www.stubbsconner.com.
